Acne and rosacea

Do you suffer from Acne or Rosacea?

Acne can be present on the face, neck, arms, back, chest and buttocks, can cause permanent scarring and may be unsightly.

Laser Treatment for Acne with the Practice’s Gemini laser machine, made by Laserscope, has pinpoint accuracy, and is considered more sophisticated than intense pulsed light machines typically found in beauty clinics. Laser treatment for acne can significantly improve the condition, remove scarring and result in clearer, brighter looking skin.

It is important to note that the Gemini machine is only sold in the UK to medical practices which are regulated by the Healthcare Commission and can only be used by fully qualified medical practitioners.

Laser treatment can also have a significant effect on acne rosacea, a chronic and unpleasant skin complaint, which causes inflammation of the cheeks, nose, chin, forehead, eyelids, skin redness, pronounced blood vessels, swelling and skin eruptions similar to acne.

There are a number of other treatments that may help reduce acne or rosacea. It is recommended you book a consultation to consider the treatments(s) most likely to suit you.

All treatments are carried out by either Dr Piper, who is a Member of the Association of Cosmetic Doctors and has been a GP for over 22 years or one of our fully qualified Practice Nurses or fully trained technicians .
